Your pre-lab exercise for this lab is to construct the data tables you will use to carry out the lab. Read the lab carefully to find what activities you will do, what numbers you will need to record, and how many times you will need to repeat each measurement. Make tables with spaces to record all the measurements.
You know ideally how many measurements you will need to take, but it may be necessary to repeat a trial several times if the first two attempts don’t give accelerations close to each other. So put a few extra rows in your table.
You need one data table for your group of no more than four students, and the table must be ready for inspection by the instructor at the beginning of the lab period. You may want to have the table in a spreadsheet to conveniently carry out the subsequent calculations.
