Registering your CPS Unit

You will need your clicker device in hand when you register, because you will need to supply its serial number.

First go to eInstruction.com. Then click, in the upper left-hand corner of the page, at “CPSOnline Higher Ed. Login”, the “Students” link. That should take you to a rather boring page asking you to select your university. (If you do not get to that page, click here.)

The easiest way to get to “University of Wyoming”, which is near the bottom of the pull-down menu, is to type “v” and then work upwards.

Once you have selected UW, click on the “Choose Course” button. (This can be a slow link.)

If you have registered your CPS pad before, enter your username and password and click the “Submit” button. If you have not previously registered, click the “Create your account” link. You will need to enter a username and password for yourself. Do not use a password that you use for other things (such as accessing your UWYO student account). The CPS passwords are not especially secure.

Once you have registered your CPS pad, you need to tell the system that you’ll be using the pad for this course. It will ask you for the class key. The class key depends on which section you are in. Your choices are:

Section 02 (10:00 AM)	e46229m84
Section 03 (2:10 PM)	s21957c46

Use the code for the correct section, so that CPS will be expecting you (and your clicker) in class!
