Future projects in the course require that reports be submitted as web pages. This means that you need to understand the basic features of the HTML language in which web pages are written. These tutorials introduce the fundamentals of HTML.
You can access a blank HTML template file by clicking on template file. View its source and copy its source code to a blank text file. Save the file to your own disk. Make sure its name has the extension “.html,” and that you save it as type “all files.”
I have not had good results from trying to save the target file directly from the link. The file displays text properly, but is strange about displaying images. I don’t know why this is, but the best results seem to follow from copying the source code into a fresh, empty text file.
